Simple Note Before Valentine's Day : Love is....

Let me share what I read in my FB news feed, a friend just updated her status :

Love is..
Not how you listen, but how you understand
Not what you see, but how you feel.
Not how you to forget, but how you to forgive.

Okay, at first glance I was stunned to read the mesmerizing sentences about love, but after the deep contemplation I realize those sentences were fine-blend in harsh reality.

We need to communicate our love in the simple language so our partner will not only listen to our feeling but understand how strong the love bonds us to them that make us willing to accept every weakness as a common usual thing. We need love not to listen to what our partner talks about, but to understand the meaning beneath the speech.

Love is not the thing that rose when you see your gorgeous partner. No, we may call that kind of thing as lust. Love is the feeling that burns your heart and desire steadily towards your partner even though your partner may be in the worst physical appearance. Love is the feeling that makes you accept your partner in any kind of conditions. Love is loyal and patient. Love is humble and not arrogant. Love is not selfish. Love is kind and gentle. Love is unconditional acceptance. Love is care and protection.

People may hurt you in the past with unforgettable pain, but love is the only thing that makes you forgive their fault. Only love that makes a man stays loyal to his wife. Only love that makes the abandoned wife accepts her strayed husband back. Only love that makes The Father welcomes the prodigal child return to their home. Only love that makes Jesus Christ exchanged our sins with His Life on the cross. Only love and there is no other thing.

Yes, love is beyond all things, love is the very foundation of everything; moreover, love brings unity among humankind. Love is the simplest language of human. Do not declare your love only on Valentine’s Day, but let us cherish our love towards one another in everyday. It is good to tell people that you love them, but it is better to show them how much you love them in your daily activities.

Happy loving day, everyone!
